Three days ago, I went to my favorite teahouse in Bratislava, Avra Kehdabra – fresh 2012 Dooars Putharjhora FTGFOP-1 First Flush from Teamountain just arrived and I had a chance to witness the first opening of its package.
The simple moment of first sniff and sip of the very first tea of spring; every year, it feels like awakening after a year-long sleep.

Oh man, I tried last year's version of this tea, which I bought from Upton Tea Imports, and I was really impressed. It's one of the most interesting (and pleasing) black teas that I've tried. It would be interesting to see how it changes from year to year.

ReplyDeletethough I didn't have the chance to taste last year's version of this tea, the 2012 version, especially in its fresh state right now, is truly a gift to enjoy on these beautiful spring days.
